2019 CHARDONNAY

Asian pear and Fuji apple dominate on the nose upfront, cedar, butterscotch, and vanilla complement in the background with hints of cardamom and coconut flake. This vintage spent 2 months in stainless steel before bottling to accentuate the freshness of a great vintage with cooler than normal conditions allowing for longer hang time for flavor development, the steely and mineral flavors linger on the finish.

2020 ROSÉ

These grapes were whole-cluster pressed (no saignée) to extract as little color as possible and preserve the freshness and crispness of the fruit. Light, stunningly elegant rose gold in color, with aromas of rose petals, crisp pears, melon, pomelo, pink lady apple skins, and spice.  An elegance of stone fruits with great freshness glides across the whole palate, with perfect white peach, Rainier cherries, nectarines, and crushed rocks to round out the exceptionally clean and crisp finish.

2018 MARLS RED WINE

Bright and expressive with aromas of black raspberry, black currant, violets, and chocolate along with savory hints of cinnamon, all-spice, and white pepper. On the palate, you will find stylish richness, ripe tannins, loads of raspberry, black jam, and supple textures. A pure pleasure trip now that will continue to age nicely for years to come.

2017 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is just 22 barrels worth of wine and it is simply spectacular. We were very fortunate to pick about 90% of our grapes prior to the fires hitting Napa Valley on the evening of October 8, 2017. (The remaining 10% of Cab grapes that had not yet been harvested were sadly declassified and not bottled by us, so you are guaranteed to be getting a wine that was in no way affected by smoke taint.) The result is a classic James Cole Cabernet Sauvignon with beautiful and complex aromas of chocolate, toasty mocha, orange peel and plum, while deep layers of rich blackcurrant and blackberry compote flavors meld with its silky texture, great intensity and superb concentration and stunning length. An incredibly exciting wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for the next 15 years.
